A fantastic and very neat historical quartz gwindel specimen from this classic locality. Deep smoky glassy gemmy quartz crystal grouping measuring 8.0 x 6.8 x 2.8 cm in size. Shows nicely all around and in excellent condition. Neat historically as this piece is figured in John Sinkankas' popular book "Mineralogy For Amateurs" (1964). The piece is figured on page 439 and is the example shown on the right in the picture. Ex Lloyd Tate collection.
