description: Sugary sparkling colorless crystals of quartz replacing large scalenohedral crystals of what were once calcite to almost 6.0 cm in size. The specimen forms an 18.0 x 17.0 x 4.0 cm plate. Accented with somewhat gemmy sphalerite crystals and sparkling pyrite, this is an outstanding condition. From the backside negative cavities can be seen where the calcite once existed. Classic material for this locality. Shipping weight: 1.59 pounds.
