Fluorite
specimen number:
2051005
location:
Edward Kraemer & Sons Inc. Quarry, Clay Center, Ottawa Co., Ohio, USA
description:
Very choice crystal for this locality, a loose single Brown very gemmy glassy cubic fluorite crystal measuring 6.0 x 5.5 x 3.5 cm in size. This is measured on a diagonal. Very little matrix attached at the bottom backside. While there is no previous label, the numbering on the bottom of the specimen tells me this was once in the collection of Robert Nowakowski. Very minimal micro-chipping present, I think overall very good condition for a crystal of this size from this locality. Brightly fluorescent. Shipping weight: 0.41 pounds. Ex Phil Martin collection.
Size: 6.0 x 5.5 x 3.5 cm (small-cabinet)
Collection: Phil Martin
