location:
Boltry quarry, Seilles, Andenne, Namur, Belgium
description: During the 1990s an area in this active limestone quarry was intersected with very unusual and interesting crystallized examples of fluorite. This current example is quite neat showing two different colors, green transparent crystallized fluorite almost 9.5 cm across is set upon a grouping of rosy purple satiny translucent fluorite. This is naturally crystallized all around except on the base word is cleaved, the piece sits perfectly upon the surface for display. Measures 13.0 x 8.0 x 7.0 cm in size. Complete all-around. Very neat and quite attractive and unusual. Ex Renaud Vochten collection.
Size: 13.0 x 8.0 x 7.0 cm (cabinet)
