An attractive red translucent twinned crystal grouping of cinnabar measuring 0.7 cm in size on a crystallized quartz matrix. A good example, these are not commonly found on the market today. Slight contacting on the backside as seen in the video. The specimen comes with a previous label as shown at the end of the video. The label dates this piece to 1954 and the specimen had a hefty price tag for the time at $25.
