specimen number:
1952047
location:
Luputo Mine, Katanga, Democratic Republic of Congo
description:
Prismatic crystals of what were once likely azurite, though some say barite, replaced by green malachite and then coated with blue crystalline chrysocolla. These crystals measure to 5.0 cm in length and are scattered beautifully over the top of a 7.0 x 3.0 x 3.0 cm matrix. Very minimal micro-chipping present, very typical of these, overall I think this one in very good condition. Shipping weight: 0.13 pounds.
Size: 7.0 x 3.0 x 3.0 cm (small-cabinet)
