Calcite with Dolomite, Fluorite
specimen number:
8037376
location:
Moscona Mine, Solis, Llanera, Asturias, Spain
description:
Attractive combination piece from this prolific locality, this shows a double terminated colorless scalenohedral crystals of calcite mostly gemmy in measuring almost 4.0 cm in height set up on a matrix of crystallized gemmy amber colored fluorite and accented nicely with many white sparkling crystals of dolomite. This is in very good condition. One of the terminations of the calcite at first appears to be damaged, but upon closer inspection this is not, and all is naturally crystallized and the piece in very good condition.
