A wonderful glassy slightly translucent beautifully red double terminated crystal of beryl measuring 1.9 x 0.7 x 0.6 cm in size set attractively on one edge of a white rhyolite matrix. Measures 3.5 x 2.0 x 0.5 cm. This is in excellent condition with no chipping present. Not quite complete on the backside as seen, although most of the backside is covered by rhyolite matrix. The crystal shows excellent translucency and is very attractive. Superb small miniature specimen of this North American classic. Shipping weight: 0.06 pounds. Ex Chris and Agatha Galas collection.
