description: Large lustrous deep green crystals of freestanding amphibole 6.5 cm across coming off matrix. Displays beautifully on its own and shows nicely all around, I think in outstanding condition. This came to us labeled as hedenbergite but I think is a member of the amphibole group. Measures 8.5 x 7.5 x 6.0 cm in size overall. Ex Robert Nowakowski collection.
